Summer is finally here! I can picture myself on long warm evenings relaxing in my backyard, sipping cold drinks in good company of my family and friends. What a pleasure! Except for one thing – mosquitoes 🙁
This undesirable guests are inevitable downside of warm summer nights. I’m always trying to get rid of them burning candles and using other natural remedies. Chemical repellents are definitely not my first choice. I definitely opt for Homemade Natural Repellents.
Today I found this interesting article on how to make 100% natural repellents at home. The recipe is really easy and it’s made with essential oils and some fresh ingredients that we all have at home. Combined in a mason jar with floating candles on the top these mason jars will also make a nice looking decoration. Let’s hope these repellents really work!
Here’s what you need for Homemade Mason Jar Natural Repellents
- 2 mason jars
- 10 drops of lemon eucalyptus essential oil
- 10 drops of citronella essential oil
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 lime, sliced
- 4 sprigs of rosemary (optional)
- Floating disc candles
